A genogram is a diagram that provides a graphic picture of the extended family
system. It includes yourself, spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, aunts, uncles, cousins, and relationships.
It may also include other relatives, affiliated kin, and pets. The best sources of information are grandparents
and other elders. This should be a fun and informative project for you besides getting in touch with family members.
You DO NOT have to put anything in these that you would like to keep private. Remember to please respect the privacy
of family members who wish not to discuss some things.
Everything will not fit on the poster board so you will include this information
in your oral report.
